La Cañada Kiwanis Club

Attention Boy Scouts!

The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada needs help placing hay bales alongside the raceway for this year's Soap Box Derby which will be held on Saturday May 28, 2005 at the east end of Foothill Blvd. near La Cañada High School. We need help in the morning for about two hours. The hay bales will have been set by the road the night before and next need to be rolled and pushed into place at the edge of the raceway. Bring gloves and a dolly if you have one.

We also need help during the race with things like moving cars and crowd control. You can work as many hours as you want during the race.

This time will count towards your service hours requirements.
