We are saddened to announce that Michael T. Roberts, passed away on June 5, 2000. Michael, a Junior Partner, began with the firm on April 15, 1977 and was a valued attorney and friend whose expertise in disability pensions for safety members was unsurpassed. It is a tremendous loss to our firm and the legal community and he will be sorely missed.

In 1971, Michael Lewis and Alan Marenstein combined their energies and passions to become the leading advocates for injured workers in Southern California. Lewis, with his experience at State Compensation Insurance Fund, and Marenstein, with his experience from the City of Los Angeles, pooled their years of service to form what is now known and respected as the premier workers' compensation applicant's firm. 
Over the years, Lewis and Marenstein have added the expertise of Thomas Wicke and Robert Sherwin, and have expanded their practice to include disability pension and personal injury. Combined with the experience of their junior partners and associates, they now bring an incomparable level of professionalism to all aspects of worker protection.

For over twenty years the firm was located near downtown Los Angeles. In October 1993, the firm relocated to the San Fernando Valley.
